Reactivity training

🐶 Bear @thecurlytailedmutt joined my 6 session Walk & Train Program yesterday to work on his confidence around different things, he gives warning growls for certain stimuli so we want to make sure that we are showing him we hear him 👂🏽 and he doesn’t need to escalate those warnings further.

We want to start to change his feelings towards those things and build his trust in his handler to recognise and respect his limits

✅ His mum is awesome and has been putting in lots of work since she rescued him quite young

✏️ It’s important to understand with fear driven reactivity in dogs, it cannot just be ‘fixed’ overnight. Just as a human with a fear or phobia of heights, spiders, or public speaking can’t just ‘get over it’. It takes patience, understanding, lots of building blocks AND lots of cooperation from their dedicated owners who want their best friend feeling their best

My W&T Program provides clarity, and sets a good foundation for these owners to work seamlessly with at the completion of the sessions
